West Port faculty, staff, and administration hopes every student has a wonderful and relaxing summer. We look forward to seeing all students return on August 13th. All incoming freshmen are encouraged to attend the annual Freshmen Preview on July 31st. See details below. The school Orientation for all grade levels will be on August 9th beginning at 6:00 PM.
The annual Freshmen Preview will be on July 31st from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. All incoming 9th grade students will receive a postcard in the mail with RSVP instructions. This is a great way for all incoming freshmen students to tour the campus and get important information about high school life at West Port. We encourage all new 9th grade students to attend. This event is for 9th grade students only, parents will drop off their students in front of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) by 8:00 AM and then pick-up students by 1:30 PM. Lunch will be provided.
Any students that wish to be a part of the West Port High School Ambassador program for 2018-19 need to complete the permission form and return it to Ms. Craig in 5-101. The training will be on July 30th and the Freshmen Preview will be on July 31st. Specific details can be found on the Ambassador page link below.

Magnet Applications are closed for the 2018-19 School year. Acceptance/Denial Letters will be postmarked by March 9th. The deadline to submit your acceptance response is Friday, March 23, 2018. Responses cannot be accepted after this date.
The School Board of Marion County, FL is proud to announce the new Microsoft Office Pro Plus Program to students and staff. This program provides free access to Office 365 Pro Plus for students enrolled in our school district and staff (employees). Marion County Public Schools meets this requirement!
Students currently enrolled in our district, and staff, are eligible, and may download and install Office 365 ProPlus on up to 5 devices (PC, MAC). The School Board of Marion County, FL does not provide support for installing or troubleshooting software on personal devices or home computers.
