    West Port Open House August 21st

    All parents are invited to attend the West Port Open House on Tuesday, August 21st from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Parents will follow their student's schedule to each class and have the opportunity to meet their student's teachers. We look forward to seeing you there!

     School Pictures on August 23 & 24

    SWI Photography will be here to take school pictures on August 23 & 24. Picture information was sent home with all students in their first day envelope along with other important school information. Please make sure you have the SWI order information and payment on picture day. Students will have pictures taken during their math class period.

    Homecoming 2018!

    Homecoming Week 2018 is October 1-6. ALL Homecoming information is on the Homecoming page. Dance tickets will go on sale August 21st during Power Hour and will End on September 28th. NO TICKETS will be sold after September 28th and NO tickets can be purchased at the door. ALL outside guests must have a guest permission form completed and approved by the guest's school. Guest forms are due by September 24th. See the Homecoming page for dance information and dress code rules. Students on the EAST side will go to 5-101 during the FIRST half of lunch to purchase a ticket and students on the WEST side will go to Mrs. Torries' room in 8-031 during the FIRST half of lunch to purchase a ticket. Students MUST have at least a 2.0 GPA and not on the debt list to be eligible to purchase a ticket.

Club Events & News

  • Club Sign-Ups August 15- September 25

    Any student interested in joining a club at West Port will need to see Ms. Craig in 5-101 during the FIRST half of A lunch on the EAST side, and during the FIRST half of B lunch please see Ms Kittles in the Den on the WEST side. Fees are $1.00 per club. Meetings will be held during Power Hour on days the sponsor chooses, and on Early Release days each month. Students should see the sponsor for more details about the club meetings days and times. The LAST day to sign-up for a club for Semester 1 is September 25th.

Office 365 Information

  • Microsoft Office 365

    Introducing Office 365 for Students and Staff

    The School Board of Marion County, FL is proud to announce the new Microsoft Office Pro Plus Program to students and staff. This program provides free access to Office 365 Pro Plus for students enrolled in our school district and staff (employees). Marion County Public Schools meets this requirement!

     

    Students currently enrolled in our district, and staff, are eligible, and may download and install Office 365 ProPlus on up to 5 devices (PC, MAC). The School Board of Marion County, FL does not provide support for installing or troubleshooting software on personal devices or home computers.
