Marion County Public Schools' Strategic Plan aligns the District’s current and future initiatives and available resources with the priorities, aims, and goals of greatest interest and importance to our community. Each priority has aligned aims that reflect the changes the District plans to achieve. Each goal represents the measurable targets the District will use to determine progress. MCPS leaders analyzed District data and engaged feedback from community members with support from an objective educational research entity. The plan’s stages included preparation, research, drafting, and formal School Board approval. In partnership with families and the community, MCPS will utilize this Strategic Plan to develop rigorous, personalized learning pathways that prepare all students for success beyond graduation.
