Vote for Dr. Gullett in Magnet Schools of America

Superintendent of the Year Competition

MARION COUNTY – Marion County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Diane Gullett is a top eight finalist for the Magnet Schools of America (MSA) Superintendent of the Year competition.

Held in conjunction with National Magnet School Month, the competition celebrates the achievements of superintendents who champion MSA’s five pillars of magnet schools: diversity, innovative curriculum and professional development, academic excellence, leadership in high-quality instructional systems, and family and community partnerships. The winning superintendent will receive $2,500 for their district.

Thanks to the overwhelming support from the community, Dr. Gullett won her voting bracket resulting in a $500 cash prize for the school district. These funds will help start a new artificial intelligence-based magnet program in Marion County Public Schools.

The next round of voting opens today and closes March 29 at 8 p.m. Anyone can vote and support MCPS magnet programs by visiting https://widgets.commoninja.com/8dcf2ce3-8a4b-433b-a4a5-4188ac822334?fbclid=IwAR1AQTfzoQAk6tVsu4cWySQEodgUYpygc3XX9iArAAhmwFAQ1kpxM9iyiCc.
