'Parent Partnership Event' Set for Jan. 21 at Belleview High School

‘PARENT PARTNERSHIP EVENT’ SET FOR JAN. 21 AT
BELLEVIEW HIGH SCHOOL
MARION COUNTY – Parents and families wanting to help their students’ learning success have access to a wealth of resources next weekend.
Marion County Public Schools continues its “Parent Partnership” series, this time with a session scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21, at Belleview High School at 9 a.m.
Topics for this session include: Preparing for Assessments, Reading and Math Strategies, Test Anxiety Tips, Canvas for Students and Families, Safe Schools: Positive Learning and Working Environments, Understanding Elementary Science, Strategies for English Language Learners, Exceptional Student Education, and Understanding Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities.
The event offers free food, transportation to and from the event, and giveaways. Transportation is limited to age five and older. Parents, families and others can register for the event and transportation at this link or by contacting their child’s school.

Parent Partnership sessions showcase the efforts by MCPS to cultivate a stronger partnership between families, schools, and the community. The next Parent Partnership session is scheduled for March 25 at North Marion High School.
