Hometown Hiring Event Aims to Fill Vacancies Before School Starts

HOMETOWN HIRING EVENT AIMS TO

FILL VACANCIES BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS

 

MARION COUNTY – Marion County Public Schools wants to hire hundreds of people for the upcoming school year and is holding its first-ever Hometown Hiring Career Fair on Tuesday, July 19, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at three local schools.

Marion Oaks Elementary (280 Marion Oaks Tr., Ocala, 34473), Fort King Middle (545 NE 17 Ave., Ocala, 34470), and Belleview High (10400 SE 36 Ave., Belleview, 34420) will serve as host sites for the event designed to attract classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, bus drivers, food service, and Marion Afterschool Program workers. As of today, 22 schools and several departments will be hiring simultaneously at all three campuses.

School administrators, district leaders, and others will conduct interviews at all three locations. Anyone interested in applying can visit www.marionschools.net/careers for the latest vacancies listing and jump start their employment process.

The event will also be promoted through social media, local billboards, school marquees, school business partners, and community contacts.
