MILITARY CAREER ACADEMY RECRUITING

STUDENTS FOR AUGUST OPENING

MARION COUNTY – Students wanting a military-based teamwork experience in high school now have a new choice in Marion County based on the US Army’s leadership principles.

The new Military Career Academy at Marion Technical Institute is recruiting its first class of cadets for the new school year starting this August.

The full-day rigorous military school experience offers high structure, real support and excellence to motivate students to academic success, pride in self-discipline, and the development of leadership principles like loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.

Students currently in grades 8-11 may apply now for admission at www.applytomarionschools.com.

In addition to core subjects, students will wear uniforms daily and experience activities including Raiders military competitions, drill teams, marksmanship, and access to base-school athletics.

Thanks to a partnership with the US Army ROTC program at Florida State University, success in this new program also opens doors for students to enroll in ROTC programs throughout the state’s college system.
