  • The most frequently recurring question this week so far is "how do I know when my child has actually done all of the work they were supposed to do?"  I can't answer that question for their general education classes.  But for gifted, I have created a little checklist to make it easier for you to be able to tell when they've done all they can do.  I DO realize it may seem like a lot, and it may not always be possible to get it all done, but at least you will know if, when they HAD the time and access, they did all they could do.  A full-size, printable checklist is attached here.  checklist

  • If your child is having issues with logging into any of their programs (SeeSaw, Khan Academy, Code Combat, etc) please remind them to FIRST log into the MCPS portal in a separate window, and then open a separate window to log into the program.  After clicking on "login," look for the button that says "Login with Google" or "Continue with Google" or something to that effect, and click on that.  It should then offer to use their MCPS login to begin.  If you're still having trouble, please let me know!
