MEETING SUMMARY
Welcome/Call to Order:
Attorney Jeremy Powers, School Board Attorney of Marion County Public Schools, called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Committee Members:
Len Racioppi, Jim Walkup, Kyle Yancey, Wally Wagoner, Brandon Owen, Howard Gunn, Stephen O’Leary, Jayme Zublick
Introduction:
Each committee member gave a brief introduction of themselves.
New Business:
Attorney Powers reviewed the Bylaws with the committee members and explained that they would need to elect a Chair and Vice Chair for the committee.
Chair elect – Mr. Matt Fabian
Vice Chair – Mr. Wally Wagoner
Secretary – Ms. Jayme Zublick
The committee had several questions that consisted of:
- Would like to get a summary of the ODP process/tax savings
- Who reports to the committee from Marion County Public Schools
- By serving on the committee, does that jeopardize bidding on projects
- Requesting documents/outline on the Request for Proposal (RFP)/ODP to have an overview of the process
The committee discussed future meeting dates:
- July 9, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m.
- September 24, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m.
- December 3, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m.
