Allison Campbell, DSC, was elected to the Marion County School Board in November 2020 and re-elected in August 2024. An Ocala resident for nearly 25 years, Campbell earned and maintains her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) designations through the Florida Public Relations Association. A former Ocala FPRA chapter president, she also served on the state FPRA Board of Directors, the Public Education Foundation of Marion County, and the Non-Profit Business Council.

Campbell has professional experience in both the corporate Public Relations and non-profit world and worked as the director of Strategic Communications at the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County. She and her husband, Andy, own A&A Campbell Group.

Constantly endeavoring in the academic world, Campbell earned her Doctor in Strategic Communication degree through Regent University. Her bachelor's and master's degrees in Telecommunications and Political Communication come from Lee University and Regent University, respectively. She's also an adjunct professor at the College of Central Florida and Southeastern University (Ocala campus).

Campbell believes attendance, budgeting, and clear communications are key to students and families succeeding in Marion County Public Schools. She ran for School Board to continue her life's motto -- to “effect change.”

Campbell and her husband have three sons, all students in Marion County Public Schools.

Campbell's Board term runs 2024-2028.
