To address growth in the Southwest Marion County area, Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) is constructing two new elementary schools scheduled to open in August 2025.
A School Board work session to discuss the proposed attendance boundaries is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
A public hearing and vote on the proposed attendance boundaries for Elementary W and X is scheduled for November 12, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.
Both meetings will occur at the School Board Administrative Office, 1614 E. Fort King Street, Ocala, Florida.
