Instructional Materials Adoption Updates
Marion County Public Schools will be adopting K-12 ELA Instructional Materials. These materials are aligned to Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards for ELA standards. Publishers will also be contacted via email and all communication related to the adoption process will be facilitated in Google Forms.
The Instructional Materials Adoption for K-12 ELA Instructional Materials adheres to FL Statutes for Instructional Materials, Sunshine Laws, and MCPS Board Policy 2520. School Board Meeting Agendas will be posted after the Adoption Review Committees have selected the awarded programs.

School Board Approval of Recommended Titles - Opens 30 day parent/resident objection window |
| March 3rd, 2026 |
School Board Meeting - Public Hearing of Formal Objections with Hearing Officer (if needed) |
