TOWN HALL GATHERINGS RETURN

MARION COUNTY – Marion County Public Schools invites the public to continue the conversation about the impact of local schools.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danielle Brewer will host a returning series of “Town Hall Gatherings” over the next two months. These relaxed, informal discussions offer a review of referendum funding along with opportunities to share what's going well, what needs improvement, and ideas for solutions.

The public can chat with District and school leaders at the location most convenient for them. Each meeting is organized around local school communities and takes place from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. in school cafeterias as indicated:

• Sept. 10 – South Marion High School, 1350 SW 165 St., Ocala, 34473
• Sept. 24 – North Marion High School, 151 W. Hwy 329, Citra, 32113
• Oct. 1 – Vanguard High School, 7 NW 28 St., Ocala, 34475
• Oct. 15 – Lake Weir High School, 10351 SE Maricamp Rd., Ocala, 34472

These gatherings are open to everyone in the community including parents, students, staff, neighbors, and others.
