MARION COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS WINS NATIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS AWARDS

MARION COUNTY – Marion County Public Schools received six honors in the latest annual awards handed out by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).

Produced by the MCPS Public Relations Department during the 2023-2024 school year, this year’s awards included:

• Award of Excellence – Excellence in Writing (back-to-school article)
• Award of Excellence – “Launching Literacy” video series
• Award of Excellence – News Release: Groundbreaking for Two New Elementary Schools
• Award of Merit – 2023-2024 Two-Page School Calendar
• Award of Merit – Golden Apple Teacher video series
• Honorable Mention – FASTfacts newsletter

NSPRA will recognize winners during its annual meeting and Celebration of Achievement event at the 2024 NSPRA National Seminar in Seattle later this month. NSPRA will also spotlight winners in a digital display at the same conference, on its website, and in association e-newsletters this coming school year.
