INTERIM SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH UNDERWAY

MARION COUNTY – The School Board of Marion County, Florida, seeks a qualified candidate to become the Interim Superintendent of Schools starting in May/June.

Individuals may apply though noon on Thursday, April 10, using this link and submitting their resume and contact information for three references. The expected salary range for the position is $125,987 - $169,333, commensurate with experience.

            School Board members will review candidates meeting the minimum qualifications of the Superintendent job description. Those advancing to the interview round will be contacted by School Board members who will then discuss their final candidates in an April 17 work session starting at 9 a.m.

Board members will then choose one candidate and formally vote on that candidate at a special April 29 School Board meeting at 5:30 p.m.

School Board meetings and work sessions are open to the public and available on the MCPS YouTube channel.
