UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES OFFER JOB OPENINGS, CAREER HELP, AND POTENTIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYMENT
MARION COUNTY – The Human Resources department of Marion County Public Schools offers three specific opportunities for individuals interested in job openings and potential employment.
While these upcoming events are open to the public, some require prerequisite materials to participate including resumes and a teamwork mindset.
These events include:
- Morsels with Marion – Oct. 30, 2025, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Marion Oaks Community Center (294 Marion Oaks Lane, Ocala, 34473). This is an opportunity for job seekers and community members to connect with MCPS staff and ask questions about services and career opportunities. District representatives from Transportation, Human Resources, Certification, Food Service, Professional Leadership and Learning, and Custodial Services will be in attendance.
- Career Camp – Nov. 18, 2025, 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., Howard Academy Community Center (306 NW 7 Ave., Ocala, 34475). This collaborative effort between MCPS and Career Source Citrus/Levy/Marion provides an opportunity for career/job seekers to participate in mock interviews, obtain assistance with creating/enhancing their resumes, and gain additional tips and insight on securing employment with MCPS.
- Winter Career Fair – Dec. 4, 2025, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Howard Academy Community Center (306 NW 7 Ave., Ocala, 34475). This career fair is open to both instructional and non-instructional staff.
