-- 2018-2019 School Year
April 6. Mark your calendars. The good people of the Fort McCoy School PTO will be hosting our annual Spring Carnival. It's bigger, it's better, it's grander than last year. We'll have booths like the Sweet's Stroll (formerly known as the Cake Walk), games, and all kinds of things for the kids to bounce in, on, and through. But best of all is the "Cougar Auto and Engine Show." That's right. If it's got an engine, clean it up, make it shiny, and bring it. Trucks, 4-wheelers, boats, riding lawn mowers. You drive it, we want to see it---and there will be prizes! Some of the other activties that the PTO is planning are a Silent Auction, Book Fair, Celebration of Student Learning, a Sheriff's Office SWAT Vehicle display, and we may even have a helicopter landing. So don't miss this one. April 6, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Right here at Fort McCoy School. Click here to download the Entry and Liability Form.
Marion County Public Schools offers five Career Choice Academies for high school students. These academies relate to specific employment needs in the Ocala/Marion County area and are designed to give students the skill sets they need to pursue successful careers in these areas. Students enrolling in a Career Choice Academy must provide their own transportation to the school and become full-time students of that school. Click here for more information.
Click here to complete the “Parent Survey.” Users can then take the entire survey in English or Spanish. Surveys may also be completed on any mobile device. Parents without computer access may complete a survey at their child’s school or at the Title I Office located at 306 NW 7th Avenue in Ocala. All surveys must be completed by February 2, 2018.
