• Welcome to online learning for 5th grade! I know this is a very challenging time for all of us and know that I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH! Please continue to be safe and we will make it through this time together. 


    • We will be using Google Classroom for all assignments. An invite was sent out to your school email address. If you did not receive the email below you will find the code to join our classroom.

    • Everyday I have to take attendance and in order to do that you will need to log in and begin working on your iReady minutes. If you work on your iReady Reading minutes I will be able to know who is "here" and who is not. 


    • Assignments will be posted Monday morning at 7:45 and due by Friday afternoon at 2:05.


    • Office Hours: 11:00-1:00 daily 
      • If I do not answer immediately I will get back to you as soon as possible. 


    You will be responsible for:

    • at least 45 minutes of iReady Reading instruction a week.
    • Twenty minutes of independent reading


     Once we get everything figured out we will be having Zoom Meetings which are like video chats where we can see each other and communicate face to face as a group or individually if need be. You can either download the Zoom App on your phone or use the Zoom website. 


    Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child's image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
