HELLO 2020-2021 6th Graders!

This year, I will be teaching both face-to-face and online using Microsoft Teams. This is a new platform for ALL of us.  I expect that we will have bumps along the way, but it is nothing that we cannot work out together.  Both my face to face and ONLINE students will need to know how to access and submit their classwork on MS Teams.

Teams is an app on the Marion County student portal. It is the selected online platform for distance learning.  It is important to know that I will be using Teams in my classroom for face to face students as well as for Distance Learning.   In the event that students must switch to distance learning, it is important for students to be prepared to use this platform. Teams is a way for students to collaborate, submit assignments, and join video calls all in one place. Students can also have online notebooks, chat with other students or their teacher, and submit assignments through the app.
