Masters in Education from the University of Florida ESOL Gifted Middle Grades Science
Just a short introduction about myself. I grew up in New Jersey with my parents and have an older sister and a younger brother. (Yes, I am a middle child). In middle school, I played the flute, was the left fullback in soccer, and ran track. My friends and I would talk on the phone that you had to dial (do you even know what my phone looked like?) and memorize all your friends phone numbers (image that now??) I decided to attend the University of Florida and graduated with my Masters in Education. During my time at UF I was involved with campus activities and attended all the Gator Football games. (GO Gators!) I began teaching in 1994 in Tampa. I moved back to the Gainesville area have been a faculty member at Dunnellon since 2011. I am married to my wonderful husband and we have two sons who are attending high school. We have a shepador Max and many outdoor cats who roam our land. My family loves to travel and our house is always full of friends and at times can be very rowdy! We enjoy our time together making wonderful memories. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5

Students and parents , please know that you may contact ESE support facilitators with questions and help with any assignment. They are Mr. Robinson at Robinson.Dennis@marion.k12.fl.us, and Ms. Brown at Brown.Greta@marion.k12.fl.us. Also, note that accommodations for most students are not unique. Extra time, having directions clarified, verbal encouragement, small group for testing, etc. should be possible in the home setting also. Please contact your teacher for clarifications. You will also be contacted by an ESE teacher to implement a Distance Learning Plan and Log developed by Marion County that will also assist your student with additional support through ESE teachers.
