Welcome students and parents.
This year will be challenging and prosperous for all students who are willing to learn and put forth effort in their education, inside and outside the classroom. It will certainly be unlike any other school year we have had before, however I know we will make the best of the time we have together. Our main learning platforms that we will be using will be Microsoft Teams and Savvas Realize (the textbook website). Please check Microsoft Teams for announcements, assignments, and other important information throughout the year. Whether it be face-to-face or through online learning, I look forward to working with all of my great students and parents.
As a Dunnellon High 2010 graduate, I have been in Marion County all of my life. After high school, I earned my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics at the University of Florida in 2014 and my Master's in Mathematical Sciences at the University of West Florida in 2019. This will be my 7th year teaching; I have taught Algebra I Honors, 8th grade Pre-Algebra, 6th grade Math and Intensive Math, so be sure to click the right link to access information about the class such as homework, upcoming tests, and other items on the agenda. Four years ago, I married my beautiful wife, bought a house, and adopted an adorable puppy. Most exciting of all, my wife and I just became parents and now have an adorable baby girl. She is two months old and very precious to us. I enjoy spending time with family, running, enjoying nature, and solving all types of puzzles and games. My passion is in math and helping others learn. My overall goal is to have my students learn, and to enjoy the process of learning the wonderful concepts and ideas in mathematics.
