What do I think about Microsoft Teams as an educator and a mom of a student? 

This is a beautifully organized online platform that puts together everything that I use to provide for my students in the class setting. My class has always been a hybrid based program with utilization of other means of technology to keep students organized & in control of their own learning. So, this new platform is going to assist students with hard & soft skills that are essential as they are in preparation for their future career/ post-secondary goals.

For the 2020-21 school year, our online point of contact will be Microsoft Teams, which can be accessed through the student desktop.

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device
