    Welcome video

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year and welcome to 1st grade. I can't wait to meet each one of you very soon. This year is going to be unlike any other but we will get through it together. Flexibility will be key.

Please make sure that your child has a face covering as they are required to be worn at all times while on school property except for during PE, recess, and while eating. Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth. One face shield will be provided to each student. Face shields will stay at school and be disinfected daily. Students will need to bring a mask from home for use in car line, on buses, and transitioning around campus. We are working hard to keep everyone safe and healthy. You will also need to send your child with a refillable water bottle. We have a water fountain in the classroom, but it will strictly be used to refill individual water bottles.

Below is a link to our school supply list. These are basic school supplies. Each child will keep their daily supplies in a pencil box in their desk. Extra supplies (crayons, glue sticks, erasers, black dry erase markers) will be kept in a labeled bag for each student. I will distribute as needed throughout the year. If you want to go ahead and prepare your child's pencil box and supply bag that would be very helpful. In their pencil box they should have one box of crayons, scissors, one glue stick, one eraser, and one dry erase marker. The extra items can be placed in a gallon Ziploc with their name written on it in permanent marker. I understand disinfectant wipes are hard to find right now, don't worry it you are unable to buy and send those in. The school will be providing me with a bottle of disinfectant spray to use in the classroom.
