Attendance is taken every day. Your child can show up and be present by logging onto MobyMax so there is a record of their presence there. They can also be present by responding to my email requesting a reply of “here”.

  • Welcome to Mr. Hart's web page.

    My email is -    Gregory.Hart@marion.k12.fl.us

During this extended stay at home, in order to satisfy distance learning requirements, your child can utilize mobymax.com. My students have used this since the beginning of the year so they are all familiar with the login process. They know their username and password and  should be able to easily get on to the website and log in.

One of the biggest benefits of digital education is the ability to differentiate instruction based on the needs of each student. Moby automatically assigned lessons to each of my students based on their diagnostic results, ensuring that students practice the skills they need to work on without spending time on skills they had already mastered. Moby will also quickly move a student to new material once they demonstrate mastery of a skill or assign additional problems if a student needs more practice. The website will re-instruct students who are struggling as well as give them hands-on lesson topics in order to help them.

In order to make adequate progress, your child should spend about 120 minutes a week on Moby Max on the Math tile.  This can be done as two to three assignments a week putting the length of time from 40 to 60 minutes each time or it can be done daily reducing the time to only 24 minutes a day (You may notice your child playing games on the MobyMax website. This is game time that they have earned by accomplishing lessons on Moby Max and is part of the process so it is okay). The assignment is actually open Sunday thru Staurday each week to help you and your child with flexible scheduling.

Your child will earn a grade each week by a combination of time spent and points earned. Points are earned by getting questions correct and passing lessons. That grade will be determined each Sunday morning after the previous week's assign, emt is closed. Each subsequent Sunday will be another grade based on time and points earned. With some oversight by you to ensure your child stays focused, this is an excellent tool for your child.
