• Our year has included learning letters/sounds, writing, math skills and lots of exciting science and social skills.

There are things you can do at home to ensure your child's success.  Please read with them for 20 minutes each day/night.  As you read ask questions about the story (where is, what color, how many) After you read ask simple questions like "Who are the characters? Where did the story take place? and "What was your favorite part and Why?"

There is also a home learning packet for each month that has some great ideas and learning opportunities. You can find monthly links on the right side of this page. On YouTube you can find  "Jack Hartman" music and movement activities and a series about the alphabet with nursery rhymes called “Olive and the Rhyme Rescue Crew”. There are websites like "ABC Mouse", "Reading Eggs" and "Starfall" for educational games.

We hope these resources will give you some alternative fun and learning activities during the Winter Break.

Please check back for more information.

Hoping all of you are doing well and staying safe.

    Yours in Education,

    Mrs. Steinman & Mrs. Tidwell
