Hello Parents and Students,

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL for the 2020-2021 School Year.

As you know, the school is allowing two ways of learning this year, students may come to the school or be taught online.  If I am your student's teacher, you have chosen to have your child learn online.  

There are many challenges to overcome this year.  The first being technology.  We are going to be using Microsoft Teams as our learning platform for Dunnellon Elementary School.  Your student's assignments and any correspondence will be through Microsoft teams.  Your child will be able to access teams on their portal and you can download the microsoft teams app to your computer.  Either way is fine as long as your child gains access  to Microsoft Teams.

Students will also be expected to be online during regular school hours which means we will be providing instruction from 7:45 - 2:05, Monday through Friday.  I will be available to talk to you or your child after school from 2:05 - 3:00 by appointment.  This will be the time that we will be able to have conferences.  I will be addressing your child daily, doing lessons with them, and through teams, I will be able to answer their questions by meeting in real time with them if they have questions.  

All of this being said, this is a learning process, and we will learn how to make it through this together.  Please be patient with us as we begin this new journey together.
