Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Maldonado

Hello Everyone!!!!

I am your new VPK Teacher Ms. Maldonado. I'm so excited to start this new journey with you. I know is going to be a great year and we are going to have lots of fun together, learning new things each day. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I came all the way from Puerto Rico, I recently moved to Ocala FL. I'm mother of a very active two year old boy named Nathan. Professionally, I have a Bachlor's Degree in Elementary Education and a CDA in Infant and Preschool. I've worked as a Infant and Preschool teacher for almost 10 years. The reason I love to teach in VPK is because I get to relive my childhood by playing, creating, interacting, dancing, singing, reading, dramatic play and much more. I believe in the theory of the philosopher John Dewey "Learning by doing". Children's that are playing and having fun are children's that are learning in the process. We have to seize every moment and every opportunity we have and make it meaningfull. Can't wait to meet you.

I know this next school year is a challenge and we are going to take every measure on keeping every children secure and safe.

So let get ready for this adventure TOGETHER !!!
