Greetings to all and welcome to 7th and 8th grade language arts! I am elated to be here at Fort King Middle School were I too was once a student many moons ago! Fast forward many more moons where I continued as a student at Florida A&M University and earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. From there I went on to earn my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University. I am endorsed in middle grades language arts 5-9, ESOL and reading grades K-12 through the Florida Department of Education.

This will be my seventeenth year teaching and I am as excited as I was my first, second, third... you get the picture! My husband and I have five awesome children, two amazing grandchildren and two adorable furry friends; Major the German Shepherd and Scooter the Poodle! In my spare time I do my best to find a beach and when its football season we travel to watch two of our boys play college football. 

For the past 30 years I have been living and working in Tallahassee and now I have come full circle to where I began! I am looking forward to getting to know each of you, working along side you and learning together.
