Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
Have you heard of it?
It is an awesome program that promotes social emotional learning! Students will communicate, collaborate, and learn about important concepts like kindness and respect. Letters and home activities concerning what we are learning about in Sanford Harmony will be posted frequently throughout the year. See you again!
What Will We Learn?
Lots of things!
Here is a sneak peek into some concepts we will see this year:
The list consists of words that students will come across often. The first list is words commonly heard and used in 1st Grade, so please practice them with your child at least once a week. A quick and fun way to practice would be to make flash cards for a review game! Encourage your child to do their best to get an even higher score next time until complete. Once they have all the words on one list, move on to the next list of words!
Practice your addition and subtraction with this fun math game!
