Welcome Back to School
I am excited to join the Dunnellon Elementary School tiger cub team and look forward to working with your child this school year. Though raised in Michigan, I have enjoyed more than half my life in the great sunshine state of Florida.

Welcome back to school! I was glad to have the opportunity to speak to many of the families during the Family Orientation meeting. I have enclosed several items that were discussed for those that were unable to make the Zoom meeting and for those that would like to view the information again.

We are in the same building as music, art, and PE.
Breakfast:
In breezeway there will be a kiosk to get breakfast and take it to the classroom.
Food:
Currently no food will be allowed in the classroom except lunches in a lunchbox.
No parties at this time
No snacks- There is only 3 hours between breakfast and lunch.
Students need individual water bottles
Specials: Check the special area teacher’s website for details regarding their specific instructions.
Classwork:
No homework will be returned to the school at this time. Use the materials as practice.
Students will be working on vocabulary instead of spelling to assist in their reading skills.
Be sure to review grading policy.
COVID Guidelines:
Face masks to be worn at all times except meals, recess, and PE.
Respect a 6-foot distance
