Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Please read the information below. This information will help parents and students become familiar with expectations and procedures for our class. 

Assignments/Agenda

All weekly assignments and agenda will be posted in Microsoft Teams. We will use Microsoft Teams regularly during and outside of school hours. 

Absences

For optimal success, it is imperative that students are in school every day. In the event of an absence, please go to our Microsoft Teams page to see what was missed and make up any missed work so as not to fall behind. 

Communication

Should you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. You may contact me via email (Renee.Johnson@marion.k12.fl.us), through the Remind app (instructions below), or via phone call (you may have to leave a message if you call during student contact hours). 

Remind

The Remind app allows us the opportunity to communicate electronically. Please download the app to your phone and then text @feh2bga to 81010. Link to Remind

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Please note that parent teacher conferences may be requested by the parent or the teacher. The confernece will need to be scheduled in advance. These meetings tyipcally occur Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. If you would like to schedule a conference, please email Renee.Johnson@marion.k12.fl.us
