  • Teacher Bio: Hello, I am a first grade teacher here at Oakcrest Elementary School. I have been blessed to teach first grade for the past seven years. First grade has and always will be my passion as is it the grade where students learn to read and learn to love reading. 

     I am originally from Parkland, Florida and relocated to Marion county last summer. I relocated to be with my newlywed husband, Austin. He was born and raised here in Ocala so we decided to start our family up here. I am excited and eager to continue my career here in Marion County.

  • Hello Parents! Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. I am excited for you to join your precious first graders and I on this new adventure. We have a great year ahead of us filled with a ton of fabulous learning. Get ready to be your child’s cheerleader as they grow academically, socially as well as physically. Also get ready to be impressed. Your child will even be able to teach you a few things here and there as the year goes on.   First grade is the year of GROWTH and I am so excited to watch and celebrate all of your child’s accomplishments with you throughout this year.
