Past Due Assignments

  • The first grade team has worked hard to limit the information and activities that your child is working on daily.

     

    This week we will be taking daily attendance, so please let me know if your child is sick or unable to do any assignments. We suggest that students do only 1 days’ worth of assignments in each subject at a time so that you and your child are not overloaded.  In order for your child to retain new information, they need to practice daily in small segments. It is not conducive to learning and retaining information for students to do all Math or Reading assignments in one day. 

     

    Please do 15 to 20 minutes in each subject daily (Mon.- Fri.) Also, 15 to 20 minutes daily in i-ready Math and Reading. I know it is hard and difficult times….do the best you can!

  • Hello! Welcome to my webpage! This is a new way of accessing assignments! This is a new way of learning for everyone, so let's learn together!

    Make sure students are completing at least 45 minutes on iReady.

    All other weekly assignments are on Google Classroom, located in the student's MCPS Desktop.
