  • Hello Students and Families,

We are currently undergoing circumstances that we have no control over at this time. What we can control, however, is how we learn and grow from this historical situation. We will do this together. This 2020-2021 school year is having both brick and mortar (coming to school) and distance learning options. Ms. Honey is teaching all students in distance learning. With this being said, I welcome you to Ms. Honey's Honeycomb Hideout (Online Edition).  I am going to do my best to provide you some tools to continue the learning process so that we can get through this year happily. I ask you to please be patient and flexible as we go on this journey.

    ONLINE:

We will be using a new platform that may be new but beneficial for students. It is called Microsoft Teams. Students will be invited via their Marion County email address and Microsoft Office 365. We will also continue to use Zoom, only if necessary, for meetings as needed for family or students. However, all four subject classwork will be on Microsoft Teams.  Students will also continue with I-Ready and Splashlearn to maintain and learn new math and reading skills.  They are posted below and the login and password will be provided once we get started (for Splashlearn) and is the same for I-Ready. These two additional websites will be familiar to some of you.

    2. https://desktop.marion.k12.fl.us/LoginPolicy.jsp

I-Ready is the website your children know well. They should know their login and password but if they do not, I will send it by email.

    3. https://www.splashlearn.com/

Once the total roster is ready, I will send out the login and password for each student.

    Yours Truly,

    Ms. Honey
