Hello, welcome to my teacher webpage...
Welcome back from spring break and an extended time off and welcome to distance learning. I hope that you and your loved ones are doing well and taking care of yourselves.
Until we return from our extended learning period I will be giving you two to three assignments to do per week, one will be a physical activity that will be accompanied with an instructional video and the other will be a written activity. Please make sure you do these assignments and send them back to me via email at email@example.com by 4:00 PM on Friday of the week that they are assigned. The assignments will be listed at the bottom of this page and will be updated every Monday. Please make sure while doing physical activitiy assignments that you are to follow proper technique, safety guidelines, and focus on your technique and needs to do them correctly.

Final assignment for distance learning.... all I need you to do is email me what your plans are for the summer including what you are going to do to continue to stay active and fit.
Consult with the under armour workout page from last week, and pick 2 different home workouts and send them into me. Do not pick the same ones. Follow the same directions as week 7 but with 2 new videos. Use this time to make sure you have 8 assignments turned in.
Go to this link which will take you to the Under Armour At home workout page on youtube. Pick anyone of two of those workouts (there are 23 total) and email back to me the following:
Which videos you did (specifically the name of the video, not just "the third one") the exercises that you had to do in the video and how long it took you to complete it. Use this week and go through the 7 weeks of work and if theres any work you haven't completed send it to me, all grades will be updated by the end of the week. Continue to take care of yourself and get all your work in for all your classes, be safe.
Complete the following at home work out, email back to me how many sets and reps you did of each exercise and what you used to do deadlifts and rows.
Week 5 (Due May 1)
Alright week 5 assignments the instructions are fairly simple. You have two things to do. Due back Friday.
1. You need to log 120 minutes of physical activity of your choice. Workouts, playing basketball, going on walks, whatever you choose to do. Record 120 minutes, and be specific on what you have done and email it to me back by Friday.
2. THIS DOESNT COUNT IN THE 120 MINUTES!. There are 7 at home workouts on this link: 7 Best at home workouts---NERD Fitness choose any that you want to do (DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY WORKOUT PLANS) pick 1 (the first one is beginner body weight, the last is PLP progression, and one of them is about training like Batman....) pick any one you want. Just tell me which one you did and the workouts that you had to do for it. So I dont want an email that says "I did train like batman" and thats it. I want you to list all the workouts that are in that specific one you picked. Again, this doesnt count for your 120 minutes. So make sure you get outside and do something!

Week 4 (Due April 24th)
Assignments for this week:
At home HIIT (High Intensity interval training) workout .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cepBx9n8ZfA 10 minute workout follow instructions from the video. Get through as many rounds as posisble, record that number and send it back to me with the following assignment completed.
Week 3 (Due April 17th)
For this weeks assignment you are to watch the following videos, and perform each exercise. Upon completion record the number of sets and reps you performed of each exercise and email them back to me. In addition you need to log one hour of caridio work of your choice, go for a walk, jog, play basketball etc something that gets you outside and moving around. In the same email write down exactly what you did to cover that 60 minutes. There is no written assignment this week, but if you haven't turned in the previous two assignments you need to get that done. Have a great week. Here are the videos:
Week 2 (Due April 10th)
TWO Assignments (a lot of you only did the workout last week, make sure you complete both
Watch and complete the following at home workout from Under Armour. You dont need any equipment. Note that he does "odd object" workouts where he uses random items in his workout, you can use weights if you have them, or any object you have around the house that you can hold easily and has some weight to it. Time how long it takes you to complete the workout start to finish, and when you complete the workout, email me how long it took you to complete it, what kind of item you used to do the odd object workouts, and what specific muscle groups were worked during these exercises.
Please complete both and send them back to me Friday by the end of the day. Stay safe. Wash your hands. Be active.
Week 1 (April 1st-April 3rd) Assignments:
Watch the following instructional videos of workouts that you can do at home. Feel free to modify for your needs, after watching the videos, perform each exercise and in an email send me how many sets and reps of each exercise that you did. You should do at least 1 set of 8 of each.
Watch the 5 components of physical fitness powerpoint and answer the questions on the word document. Email the document back to me with your answers.
