Welcome to Mrs. Baird's teacher page. I am an ESE inclusion teacher for K-3rd grade at Anthony Elementary school.  I look forward to working with you and your students through a traditional platform (brick and mortar) and through MCPS online.  I will be working in collaboration with many of the teachers here on campus to provide rich and detailed instruction for the young minds who are in each classroom setting and who are seen virtually.  I am a very flexible teacher who likes to be there for the families and for the students in my community.  

I have been an educator for a number of years.  I started at the college level working with adults with disabilities for 4 years.  Here I found my calling and my love for teaching.  After receiving my bachelors in Psychology I starting working for Marion County as a ESE teacher at the high school level.  Here I graduated 30 seniors and helped many others to overcome their challenges and goals.  After this I started working at the Elementary level and I have been here for 5 years.  I have thoroughly enjoyed working with ESE children of all ages and here is were my heart is.  I am like the children I teach, I am eager to learn, to grow and to change to become a better version of myself.
