Bachelor of Science, Elementary Education Western Carolina University Teacher Bio: I am a first-grade teacher here at Oakcrest Elementary School. I have been teaching in a K-5 school in a variety of roles since 1994. My passion is to see students learn to read and love reading as a lifelong hobby! I have been married to my husband, Chad, for 25 years and we have 4 children, 2 girls, and 2 boys. We were new to Florida year. We have lived in Maryland for the past 3 years but are originally from Charlotte, NC. I love the sunshine!
