Attendence will also be taken at the start of each new class period. Whether students are face-to-face or virtually learning, they will be required to adhere to our class behavior policy:
Bobcat ROAR Expectations:
-Respect myself and others
-Own my choices
-Act safely
-Ready to learn
Students are expected to be in class on time.
Students that are exhibiting behaviors that are not in line with our ROAR Expectations will be redirected the first time, given a warning if the behavior continues, if they do not change the behavior they will go to a yellow light, and finally they will receive a red light. Students that receive three red lights in a nine weeks will have a discipline referral written for their behavior. Red lights will result in a drop in their conduct grade. Please note, there may be some behaviors that can result in an automatic discipline referral, such as complete disrespect to a teacher, threatening teachers and students, as well as, fighting.
It is my hope that every student is going to work hard this year and do their best. I am excited to be your child's teacher and I look forward to building strong relationships with you and your child.
