• Hello! I am Coach Engedal, but my students call me Coach E. I am one of the physical education teachers at Evergreen Elementary. During this time of heightened anxiety and social distancing, I want to encourage all of my students, parents, and guardians to engage in some form of physical activity each and every day, for a minimum of 60 minutes. It doesn't need to be 60 minutes straight. You can break up your time in 10 or 15 minute incriments. These can be activities like doing chores around the house, playing games where you are moving around, or simply taking a walk. I also want to encourage you to eat healthy and limit the amount of junk foods you and your students are eating. A healthy diet and physical movement are critical to maintaining a healthy body and a healthy mind during this challanging season.



    In the assignments folder you will find your required graded activities. Make sure you select the correct assignment for your grade level. They are seperated K-2 and 3-5. We are asking that all students keep a Fitness Activity Tracker during their time away from school. Please turn in your first physical activity tracker by the due date, April 17th. The simplist way to turn this in is to take a picture of your tracker worksheet and email it to me. ***Please note that you will only be graded and required to complete the tracker on the days you are scheduled for PE(see specials schedule below), but we encourage you to use it everyday to remind and encourage you to stay active each and every day you are at home. We encourage you to utilize the available resources to help you stay active. Daily activities are listed on the five day calendar located in the assignment tab.
