  • Welcome to Miss D'Auria's online classroom!

In this time of uncertainty and trial, I hope you and your family can lean on me and the supports from Belleview-Santos Elementary. Whenever you have a question or are in need of anything, please, let me know so I can direct you to the best resource possible.

This platform will be used to post assignments until the end of the school year. Starting April 6th, I will post assignments weekly: 3 assignment for reading and writing, 3 assignment for math, 1 assignment for science, and 1 assignment for social studies. These assignments will be created to accommodate this odd situation. I plan to only create activities that can be easily completed from the home environment utilizing materials from home.

Your child will need some additional assistance with these activities. Do what you can, but do not stretch yourself too thin, please. I am here to provide extra guidance to you as you take on the role of teacher and to help your child as they become a more independent student. Please note that I have put an asterik* on all assignments being recorded as a grade.

Your child will also be responsible for completing 45 minutes each week in both reading and math on iReady. Lastly, please, try your hardest to have your child read for 20 minutes a day. For more resources to extend your child's development during this time, visit our class website-- forgingavillage.weebly.com --to access resources, such as fun activities to entertain your children at home, videos to explain the Coronavirus pandemic to your child, and information to better understand your child's literacy needs.

My heart goes out to everyone during this troubling time. You may contact me via ClassDojo, email, phone, or webchat. My contact information is listed below. Do NOT be afraid to contact me. I am here to help you and your family!
