At Sunrise Elementary School, we commit to providing every student with a quality education where all students are able to reach their full potential in a safe and secure environment with a STEAM focus. We work as a team, partnering our highly qualified instructional staff with parents and community stakeholders in order to maximize each individual student’s potential. We believe all students can learn and this is evident throughout our campus as we provide learners with authentic learning opportunities, allowing all students access to the same rigorous curriculum. The components of the 5E’s model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate) are evident in all content and special areas as we strive to provide a stimulating environment in all classrooms as students engage in STEAM focused learning within the school day and beyond, in our after school enrichment program. Students are immersed in a technologically rich learning environment where they engage in the 4C's (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication) in order to prepare them to be successful in the 21st century. We are preparing students to problem solvers and critical thinkers and ready to take on tomorrow’s challenges not even considered today.
