    Parents, please feel free to contact me at Abigail.Harris@marion.k12.fl.us - that is the most immediate way you can get a hold of me. If I do not respond within 48 hours, please contact the guidance office.

    Conference Information: Conferences should be prearranged via phone or email. We do our best to accommodate walk-ins, but we have a busy schedule and advanced notice is appreciated whenever possible.

    All parent conferences are scheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Guidance conferences with teachers present are most often held before school due to scheduling restrictions. Conferences without teachers can be scheduled between the Counselor and the parent during school hours. IF you have a question or would like a conference with only one teacher, you are welcome to contact that teacher directly through email or by calling Vanguard High School at (352) 671-4900. You are not required to contact the guidance office before contacting a teacher regarding your child. Due to scheduling restrictions, oftentimes teachers are able to answer questions via phone or email faster than arranging a time for a conference. We do encourage contact directly between parents and teachers whenever possible.

    Parents interested in their student's grades & current progress are encouraged to access the Skyward Family Access Portal (Click HERE for access). If you are in need of access information regarding Skyward Family Portal, please contact your child's school. Or check the MCPS Home Page for Skyward Assistance.

    Students, also feel free to email me at Abigail.Harris@marion.k12.fl.us, contact me on Canvas Class of 2025 or through the REMIND App - texting or emailing is the most immediate way you can get a hold of me because they come to my phone during business hours. If I do not respond within 48 hours, please contact the guidance office. You too can always check your grades on the Skyward Family Access PORTAL (Click HERE for access).

    Unfortunately, I am not always available the minute a student walks in, but that surely doesn't mean I do not want to help you. I am often in out on campus in classrooms meeting with students.
