• What platform are we using?

     We are using Microsoft Teams for all classwork.

     

    How do we access that platform?

    Login to MCPS Desktop select the tile that says email/one drive with a red and white icon. Inside the Icon it will say Office 365. Once you click this you will have to log in again and it will bring up microsoft apps. select the app Teams. and then select the team for your period.

     

    What are the expectations?

     Class begins with a meeting each morning promptly at the start of the period. Classwork is found in assignments tab in our Microsoft Teams page. If you are having rouble locating the assignment try switching your device or your browser or both. If you need a chromebook contact the front office. If you still are experiencing issues we can set up an appointment for us to meet with masks and look at each of your devices and try to get to the bottom of the issue. Communications in Microsoft Teams is limited to only posts/comments/chats that are directly about learning math.  

     

    When will the actual assignments start?

    Assignments have already started. Although classwork is chunked in 2 week increments, Mr. Bigby checks that classwork is completed daily.  

     

    How do I know what I need to complete?

    On a daily basis in the meeting Mr. Bigby will make you aware what needs to be done each class but generally speaking, class notes will recieve a grade every two weeks. 

     

    How to contact me?

    I am available Monday-Friday for zoom meetings from 8:00-9:00 AM & 12:00-1:00 PM
