  • Welcome to Reading! We have a fun-filled year of learning ahead of us.

  • Welcome Families!  This is where you can come to check on our new distance learning that begins Wednesday, April 1st. 

     

    COMMUNICATION: All classroom communication will be through ClassDojo and from my teacher website.  You can contact me through ClassDojo or email me with any questions or concerns.  My office hours will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 – 9:00 AM and 12:30-1:30 PM.  

     

    GOOGLE CLASSROOM: I will use Google Classroom to assign work each work. You can access Google Classroom through the Portal. They will have assignments in ELA and Social Studies. 

     

    SPECIALS: For this week’s specials, please visit their Art teacher's website for the art assignment.

    IXL is a Language Arts and Social Studies practice website for K-12 learning. I will assign weekly IXL practice skills.

    Google Classroom

    Students who need to access their Google Classroom assignments can do so by logging into their Marion County portal.

    -Click on the Google Apps link at the bottom of the homepage on their portal.

    -Click on the Google Classroom tile.  If the computer they are using is linked to a Gmail or other Google account, you need to first log out of the account and sign in with the student's marionstudents account.

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
