WELCOME FRIENDS!

I am excited to be your  1st grade teacher. It's going to be an amazing year filled with fun, hands-on experiences, and  adventures. This will be my 8th year at Hammett Bowen Elementary. 

I graduated with a Montessori Degree in Education from the National Center for Montessori Education (NCME), 16 years ago. I am also a graduate of a Bachelors of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Central Florida (CF). Go PATRIOTS!

The best thing about teaching is ... getting to appreciate and encounter the magical-imaginatory lightbulb when a student masters a lesson! Llama-zing!

I have a passion for traveling (cultural learning), decorating, and painting.  I enjoy most sports, especially baseball ( I have 3 actively involved sons,ages 19,15,12).

My favorite of colors is red, but love warm inviting ones too. Coffee is my nemisis, tea is my thing! My favorite animal is a llama, (you will notice that detail throughout my classroom).

I am fluent in Spanish, yet have a passion for learning other languages such as Italian.
