Hello! I hope everyone remained safe and healthy during this time away from the classroom. I have missed seeing all of my students face-to-face and cannot wait to be with everyone again soon. School begins for students on August 24th! I will continue to provide individualized work for your child according to their IEP goals as well as supplemental instruction with their work in the general education classroom setting.
Thank you for your patience and committment to your child's education! - Ms Gangelhoff
My e-mail address is Crystal.Gangelhoff@marion.k12.fl.us. Feel free to contact me here. I will be checking this throughout the day as I have the opportunity.
To reach me e-mail is best. My schedule is direct time with my students in class and on Zoom so I don't always have an opportunity to respond to voicemails quickly. If you would like a phone call, no problem, just request that in the e-mail!
Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.

Degrees and Certifications:
Ms Crystal Gangelhoff (Ms. G)
I am one of the two support facilitators at Dunnellon Elementary. I have a degree in Special Education from the University of Georgia. I also have a minor in Theatre. Strange sounding mix I know. When I was at UGA I volunteered to lead an advocacy group for students with disabilities. In that position I did many public speaking engagements on and off of the UGA campus. I also worked as a test facilitator and put books on tape for the blind. I have been working for Marion County Public Schools for four years in various positions within the field of special education. I have worked at Hillcrest, Greenway Elementary and now I am at Dunnellon Elementary.
My job at Dunnellon includes going into classrooms and assisting students in the Inclusion setting. I am in charge of things like instruction pertaining specifically to their IEP goals, their behavior plans and their accommodations for classroom work and testing.

Here is a video tutorial on how to use Zoom. This will be my preferred way to do sessions with students as it allows us to see eachother and for me to present material.
