Hello Parents and Students,
As we start working together with online Distance Learning we will be using the following resources for learning and communicating:
-Class Dojo-This will be our primary source of communication. I will be posting your weekly assignments/lesson plans here. I will provide information about how to implement Class Dojo remote learning from home as soon as I have it available.
-Email- If Class Dojo is busy you may email me with any questions- angela.crippen@marion.k12.fl.us
-iReady- Complete 45 minutes of Math and 45 minutes of Reading weekly. There are also learning games available for your child to play. If you need your child's login information, please send me a request via Class Dojo.
-Amplify/CKLA (ELA)- I will be uploading passages and grammar practice assignments to be sent back via Class Dojo.
-Think Central/Go Math- Students can login from desktop and complete posted assignments.
Directions to access Think Central:
Log in to the MCPS Desktop
Click on the Think Central tile (you may have to scroll through the tabs at the bottom to find it)
Click on the “Thing to Do” tab, which is a green cell phone
Click on the Current Day’s assignment (the blue letters)
Select the Assignment (blue letters) and begin
The assignments will begin Wednesday, April 1st. Assignments will then be posted every Monday. They will be due on Friday.
-Office hours- My official office hours during distance learning is 8-9 am and 12-1 pm. However, please always feel free to email me at angela.crippen@marion.k12.fl.us or send me a Dojo message and I will reply as soon as I am able.
Please be sure to check our Special Area Teacher's Websites weekly as well for assignments.
