For additional information about the Silver River Museum please visit us online at www.SilverRiverMuseum.com

The Silver River Museum will remain closed until further notice. Please check back for updates or call the museum at (352) 236-5401 for more information. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We are sorry to report that the 2020 Ocali Country Days festival has been canceled.

This decision is based on a trend of increasing local cases of Covid-19. Based on what we know, it appears that this trend will continue for the rest of the calendar year at a minimum.

We cannot ask our staff, volunteers and the general public to attend a large event and risk exposure. The only safe choice is to cancel.

We look forward to hosting Ocali Country Days in 2021 and will miss seeing everyone this November.

The Silver River Museum and Environmental Education Center is a program of Marion County Public Schools. The museum is located within the Silver Springs State Park off Baseline Road (CR 35) and one mile south of SR 40 and works in close cooperation with the Florida Park Service. View map.

The Silver River Museum is open weekends and on most holidays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Please note that we are closed to the public on weekdays.

Admission is $2.00 per person. Children under six are admitted free. Entrance fees also apply for the Silver Springs State Park. Contact the state park at (352) 236-7148 or click here to visit their website.
