Welcome to English I and English II!
Instructions to get into the online textbook are on the Eng 1 and ENG 2 Assignments tabs. Instructions and codes to login to the Google Classroom are under the Distance Learning Instructions tab.
I hope you all know how much I miss you and I miss seeing you all everyday. Just like you- I AM BORED. Quarter 4 is coming to a close and some of you are getting closer to graduation and you all have a thousand questions and no one seems to have consistent or concrete answers. I know these are uncertain and challenging times, and it seems like life is moving extremely slow to you (because you are BORED!). I want you to realize that this is something that you will be telling future generations about. History is happenening RIGHT NOW. If you are incredibly bored, you can always make a paper or online journal of what is happening everyday (you could include pictures). This could be something to show your future children and even grandchildren. This will be in their History and Science/Biology textbooks. If you do it in the Google classroom, I will print it out for you and make sure you get it. Also know that this won't last forever, and as you move into a new routine, please have patience with your teachers, family, yourself, and your friends. We will get through this together! That said, I hope you all are safe and continuing to practice social distancing according to the CDC guidelines. Yes, I am going to say it---hold on-- here it goes--USE YOUR PHONES (to communicate). If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me via email at Holly.Rutledge@marion.k12.fl.us or in your respective Google classroom. I hope to see you all very soon!!
