Hello, and welcome to Fort King Middle School's Visual Arts Classes!  I'm so excited to be teaching at the Fort this year!  This will be my fourth year at Fort King, and I look forward to an amazing year with some amazing kiddos. 

As always, I expect student artists to complete their work with their best effort while following all class, school, and district rules.  A Growth Mindset, Positive Attitude, and Respectful Behavior will help all students succeed in art. 

This year, MCPS is operating with two ways to access learning, traditional in the classroom, and online learning!  I will be offering both methods this year!  All of my classes will be operating digitally using Microsoft Teams.

For my online students, this will be what we use every single day to meet, discuss, learn and do! 

For my traditional kiddos, we will be using this as a hub where you can check assignments and due dates, as well as any class discussions on the topics we'll be discussing (it will also be a great place to find that worksheet you may have lost ;) ).

The District has created a few helpful videos to make the transition to online a bit easier.  Before classes start, please take the time to review the videos and try accessing Teams through your MCPS Desktop!
