I attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and majored in Ornimental Horticulture. I have two sons, one daughter, and six grandchildren! Oh, and two dogs, a cat, and one parrot. I enjoy just about all outdoors activities, although collecting rare and unique plants, and hybridizing new varieties of daylilies and orchids are a passion of mine. I am an avid fan of NBA and College Basketball, NFL football - (my son in law is the place kicker for the Houston Texans), and of course High School sports. I have coached Little League, and Soccer in the past.
